Indoors or outdoors, this chili is bringing bold heat to a dish that warms everyones soul.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive
  • 2 lb chili beef, or ground chuck
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can fire roasted tomatoes
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoons Rufus Teague Blazin’ Hot BBQ Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 can black beans
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro, garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat heavy pot over the fire. When the skillet is hot, add olive oil. Once oil is hot, add chopped onion, garlic, and then, ground beef. Let that cook for 5 or so minutes, until brown
  2. Add the rest of your ingredients and bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat. Let simmer for about an hour, stirring occasionally.
