Let’s cut to the chase, if there are two things in this world that everyone loves, it’s burgers and burritos. So, it only makes sense to jam those two together into a grilled masterpiece that will blur the lines and leave us all wanting more. This recipe is about as simple as whipping up a traditional burger or a burrito, but the result is something that will have you wondering why you’d never treated yourself to this before.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lb Ground Beef (85% lean)
- 1 cup of Shredded Cheddar
- 4 large Flour Tortillas
- 1 large Tomato sliced
- 1/3 Red Onion sliced thin
- 2 cups Shredded Lettuce
- 3 tsp Rufus Steak Rub
- 2/3 cup Sour Cream
- 2 tsp Rufus Meat Rub
- Sliced Jalapeños
- Ketchup
- Mustard
Instructions
- Heat Grill to Medium High.
- Mix Meat Rub and Sour Cream together and keep cool.
- Add Steak Rub to ground beef and mix well.
- Form four rectangular hamburger patties (roughly 3” x 6”).
- Grill patties till nearly medium doneness. Add cheese until starting to melt.
- One at a time, place each patty in center of a tortilla.
- Top with tomato, onion and jalapeño.
- Fold over top and bottom, then wrap sides.
- Place burritos back on grill with smooth sides up. Flip after one minute to cook one additional minute.
- Remove and plate. Drizzle all with ketchup and mustard. Top with shredded lettuce and a large dallop of sour cream/rub mixture.
