Face it, crabs are delicious. This recipe let's their flavor shine while the Rufus Fish Rub brings out the best.


  • 2 dozen blue crabs
  • 1 beer
  • 8 cups water
  • ¼ cup Rufus Teague Fish Rub
  • ¼ cup salt
  • 4 ears of corn, cut into thirds


  1. In a large stock pot, add the water, beer, Rufus Teague Fish Rub, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  2. When the water reaches a boil, add in the crabs. Turn the heat down to medium and boil the crabs for about 15-20 minutes.
  3. Add the corn at about the 10 minute mark, to steam them for 10 minutes. When everything is cooked, drain the crabs and corn out of the water.
  4. Top with more Rufus Teague Fish Rub, butter, lemon wedges, and beer.
