Seriously... if you can find a better shrimp taco anywhere, let us know. Spicy, a little sweet and full of lemony garlic. Mmmm. And to top it off, this is probably the easiest recipe you're gonna find. Prepare yourself, it's pretty dang great.

Ingredients

  • Olive Oil
  • 1 lb of peeled, raw shrimp
  • 1/4 cup of Rufus Diablo Limonajo
  • 4 medium flour tortillas
  • Cheese (we like Chihuahua or Monterey Jack)
  • Thinly shaved Red Cabbage
  • Green Onions sliced thin
  • Cilantro
  • Sour Cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in skillet to medium high.
  2. When hot. Cook shrimp in single layer till slightly browned on both sides and just cooked through. (2-3 minutes per side). Turn off heat.
  3. Add Diablo Limonajo over shrimp and stir for one minute making sure all shrimp are coated.
  4. Quickly remove shrimp to cutting board and roughly chop.
  5. Make tacos by adding cheese to tortilla and top with 1/4 of the shrimp. Finish with cabbage, onions, cilantro and if you prefer, a litte sour cream.
  6. Enjoy!!!

Tips

Serve alongside rice and black beans for a healthy, simple dish that really wows.

Shrimp prepared this way will also be great as a topper for salads or nachos, for quesadillas or even to go with Thai pasta dishes.
